The purpose of this Blog

This blog is to detail my 50 years (1973 - 2023) with a 1928 Chevrolet tourer, affectionately called "The Red Chev".

The acquisition, restoration, improvements and my experiences over the years are covered in as much detail as I can remember.

Some of the later postings include car club outings and other vintage car items that I hope will be of interest to people.

If you have the time, scroll back to where it all began in 1973 and follow the journey so far.

Thanks for dropping by.

Regards Ray Dean

This is a unique opportunity to purchase one of the first tow able caravans after the horse drawn type  there are three windows one on either side and one at the front and stable door at the back i have got the stove oven and there are still remaining some cut glass mirrors inside also the angel oil lamp that is included in the sale i have taken the wheels off for security reasons they are the artillery type three stood similar to the bull nose Morris of the same period the caravan needs a full restoration and not for the faint hearted this is a very rare item indeed their  might only be a hand full of these in the country and now your chance to own one.  its a bit of history  it has been stored away in a barn for forty years and hasn't seen the light of day
