AND WE MAY THINK WE'VE HAVE GOT IT BAD FROM TIME TO TIME!

This was just a mere 70 years ago...

It sort of makes complaining about no mobile phone service, high gasoline prices, not
enough cable channels, etc., all seem a bit ludicrous.
