The purpose of this Blog

This blog is to detail my 50 years (1973 - 2023) with a 1928 Chevrolet tourer, affectionately called "The Red Chev".

The acquisition, restoration, improvements and my experiences over the years are covered in as much detail as I can remember.

Some of the later postings include car club outings and other vintage car items that I hope will be of interest to people.

If you have the time, scroll back to where it all began in 1973 and follow the journey so far.

Thanks for dropping by.

Regards Ray Dean

1935 CHEVROLET SEDAN

YOU WON'T FIND A MORE ORIGINAL UNMOLESTED CAR THAN THIS.

IT HAS BEEN IN STORAGE MANY YEARS & HAS A STRAIGHT CLEAN RUST FREE BODY & CHASSIS.

THE ONLY RUST IS THE RUNNING BOARDS THAT ARE STILL SOLID.

IT HAS ALL THE ORIGINAL JACK, WHEEL BRACE, & CRANK HANDLE & IT HAS A FOLD DOWN LUGGAGE RACK & LOCKABLE SPARE WHEEL.

I WAS TOLD THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING WHEN IT WAS PARKED UP APPROX 10 YEARS AGO.

ALSO COME'S WITH ORIGINAL KEY & EXTRA RIM. THIS IS A FORCED SALE DUE TO PERSONAL REASONS.

  1. This car still looks good! All it needs is a paint job and change of tires, then it’s good to go. Well, no one knows the price value of this car if ever this would be restored back to its original state. This may be worth millions! By the way, were there any problems with its engine?
