Up for bid is a one of a kind rare vintage board racer. I have only been able to find one other, and that was in New Zealand. This is a hand crafted little gem.
It has had a complete restoration and runs and drives very nicely. It has 5 new tires, 4cyl. OHV 21 HP 170 C.I. motor.
It has a custom made trailer with new wheels, tires, ramps and wench. It also has an on-board air compressor, (see picture) a 6 volt battery and an original custom tow bar for short runs.
This race-car is truly museum quality and should make some collector very happy.
I will show the car to prospective buyers by appointment only. You may call Dick @(585) 944-4481 with any questions or for an appointment.
I will not accept Pay Pal on this one, they just charge too much at both ends.
I will accept cash, bank check, or a good certified personal check.
The car is sold as is, where is, with no warranty or guarantee.
Good luck with your bidding.
Starting bid $6500.00
The purpose of this Blog
This blog is to detail my 50 years (1973 - 2023) with a 1928 Chevrolet tourer, affectionately called "The Red Chev".
The acquisition, restoration, improvements and my experiences over the years are covered in as much detail as I can remember.
Some of the later postings include car club outings and other vintage car items that I hope will be of interest to people.
If you have the time, scroll back to where it all began in 1973 and follow the journey so far.
Thanks for dropping by.
