Sometimes its not the big things that make a difference, as in this case 3 simple tweaks have improved cold starts and warm ups in the Red Chev.
Choke & Hand Throttle
Both these were not holding their position and would return to off position. Tolerated this for too long as it was only a problem on cold starts, but it meant I had to manually hold the choke out or hold the hand throttle till the engine warmed up. More of a nuisance than a problem.
A few minutes, a few adjustments and presto, all is working fine
Clutch
Gear changes have been a bit gratey when cold, no problem when warmed up. Again with as simple adjustment as a half a turn on the brass nut on the clutch activating lever, all is well.
