926 STAR Speedster, (from the 20's)

Found this on Ebay, not my style but I like and would love a Chevy Speedster

926 STAR Speedster, Roadster, Runabout out of many years in storage. I do not know very much on its history other than it was sold at a Seattle auto auction in the early 1980’s supposedly to a John Farrell. It may have been a race car back in the 20’s or 30’s and I seriously doubt if it was a backyard build as the sophistication in the construction of the body, grille and grille shell is beyond amateur workmanship and it is done entirely in steel. It still has the Continental 4 cylinder engine and original transmission and running gear. It needs to have the gas tank cleaned out to be a reliable runner and the lights need to be rewired. It just needs some basic maintenance issues. It still has the Star motometer, cloisonné grille shell emblem and the factory Star hubcaps. The tires are 30” X 3 ½”.
