Nothing like a complete once over service to get everything ticking along just nicely

Decided it was time for a complete once over, the first major one since the 2007 wedding restoration.

The following jobs were done

- Engine oil change
- Gearbox oil change
- Check diff oil  level
- Full chassis lube
- Checked all underbody bolts (nothing loose, a couple nipped up a little)
- Replaced front wheel bearings
- Checked water
- Checked and adjusted fan belt
- Adjusted brakes
- Adjusted Handbrake
- Replaced wiper blade (as if that will make a difference)
- Checked, cleaned and adjusted points
- Steering box lube
- Universal joint lube
- Checked and cleaned plugs
- Distributor lube
- Generator oiled
- Topped up battery water
- Cleaned petrol filter
- Adjusted clutch
- Adjusted hand throttle and advance retard connections to remove excessive play
- Running repairs to the hood, as it was coming loose from the rear hood bow, removed cover strip glued and refitted with stainless nails

After getting all the must do's done, there were a few cosmetic jobs on the list.

- Replaced lower windscreen surround. I have been patching up another guys throw away surround since 75, the last time was for the wedding restoration in 2007. It is now beyond repair and I had a spare in the parts shed. Clean, repaint, new rubber, done.

- Repainted front brake drums, they were flaking.

- Various paint touch ups on hood irons and body

A wash, polish, check all the lights, all done
