http://www.dvhcc.com.au/ club run Sunday 8th July.
At 10.45 this morning I was picked up by Les and Jan Francis and had the pleasure of being a passenger in the first public appearance of their 1938 Lasalle.
Great car Mr Francis
We then motored in great comfort to meet up with other club members at the Sandown Park Greyhound Track Taberet, where a fine lunch was enjoyed by all.
After lunch we moved on to the Dandenong Show Grounds for an afternoon tea to celebrate the 90th birthday of Reg and Margaret Clarence, both senior members of the DVHCC.
The birthday couple arrived in style in a stretched limo, and were greeted by family, friends and a number of people
from the various clubs they have been associated with over the years.
I had to take a few shots of this 1920 Austin Twenty, which I have not seen before. I love the twin spare wheels at the rear.
Thanks to all who were involved in organizing the run, and also to the Clarence family for allowing us to share their special day.
