The purpose of this Blog

This blog is to detail my 50 years (1973 - 2023) with a 1928 Chevrolet tourer, affectionately called "The Red Chev".

The acquisition, restoration, improvements and my experiences over the years are covered in as much detail as I can remember.

Some of the later postings include car club outings and other vintage car items that I hope will be of interest to people.

If you have the time, scroll back to where it all began in 1973 and follow the journey so far.

Thanks for dropping by.

Regards Ray Dean

2014 National Meeting

City of Busselton

Western Australia

Held 9th-14th April 2014

The 2014 Cadillac LaSalle Club of Australia 2014 Nationals is over.

Thanks to the City of Busselton and our other sponsors who helped make this event an unparallelled  success.

The City of Busselton can clearly be qualified as the

"Events Capital of Western Australia"

The Event Program included Driving Tours through the South-West scenic areas such as Margaret River, Yallingup, local wineries and other tourist attractions, coastal area tours as well as social functions, and a Show and Shine Day. There was also other activities like Drive-In movie nights, and free time to explore Busselton and the surrounding environs.
Below are a few photos from several workshop tours
