The purpose of this Blog

This blog is to detail my 50 years (1973 - 2023) with a 1928 Chevrolet tourer, affectionately called "The Red Chev".

The acquisition, restoration, improvements and my experiences over the years are covered in as much detail as I can remember.

Some of the later postings include car club outings and other vintage car items that I hope will be of interest to people.

Paused - 28 Chev Ute Restoration (5th September 2015)

The ute restoration will be having a break for a week or so while I strip out the garage and give it a clean after 3 months of grinding and cleaning the chassis and other parts.


This needs to be done prior to painting the chassis and other bits and pieces.

I am also making space to bring the Red Chev home so I can play around with the springs to try and get a softer ride.

After being on holidays since May, the Red Chev is coming home, and will be going on a few car club runs over the next month or so.

And then........ who knows????
