The purpose of this Blog

This blog is to detail my 50 years (1973 - 2023) with a 1928 Chevrolet tourer, affectionately called "The Red Chev".

The acquisition, restoration, improvements and my experiences over the years are covered in as much detail as I can remember.

Some of the later postings include car club outings and other vintage car items that I hope will be of interest to people.

If you have the time, scroll back to where it all began in 1973 and follow the journey so far.

Thanks for dropping by.

Regards Ray Dean

1928 Chev - Restored to better than new, and the best deal on the planet. Now that's the claim of a confident seller

Wow, now that is big statement. If it's true where does the queue start?

I found this on EBay, and even the writing is bold.

But then its going to cost $16,998 to buy this nice looking Chev 4.

Having said all that, it would look nice in my shed.

Very nice looking engine bay

Hopefully only a minor problem with the fitted vacuum tank that requires a rusty one fitted as a mini fuel tank.
