1932 Chevrolet Special Sedan is now available. Fun vehicle. Original running gear, 194cid in line 6 that has been rebuilt to original specifications with a .030 overbore with original three speed manual transmission. Operating Carter W-1 Carburetor very unusual downdraft, NOT side draft. Dual side mount spares. Expandable trunk. Wind wings. Safety glass. The vehicle was rebuilt in the late 80's and has less than 1000 miles on it since rebuild. All axle and wheel bearings and brakes were replaced. All parts were cleaned and repainted down to the bare frame. Upholstery is in good condition with mohair. Dark green with yellow wire spoke wheels. This car runs and drives. Only a few pieces needed to make it a complete original or it is a very clean platform to customize. The pictures speak for themselves.
The purpose of this Blog
This blog is to detail my 50 years (1973 - 2023) with a 1928 Chevrolet tourer, affectionately called "The Red Chev".
The acquisition, restoration, improvements and my experiences over the years are covered in as much detail as I can remember.
Some of the later postings include car club outings and other vintage car items that I hope will be of interest to people.
If you have the time, scroll back to where it all began in 1973 and follow the journey so far.
Thanks for dropping by.
Regards Ray Dean
